 | Explorer 4 light fittings on multi-circuit tracks have been supplied for the new ‘Architects at Work’ exhibition at Timothy Soar’s Lionworks Studio.
Having worked closely with Light Projects for many years as official photographer for their prestige projects, Timothy Soar invited Light Projects to source light fittings which were not only be very discreet and powerful but also both architecturally and aesthetically pleasing. It was important that the fittings complemented and enhanced the fabric of the building.
Light Projects’ Explorer 4 is a perfect fitting for this kind of application. The MR16 spotlight can house a range of accessories including eggcrete louvers, coloured filtered lenses, UV and IR filters, spread and frosted lenses . The fitting is also available in white, black and any RAL colour to order.
‘Architects at Work’ forms part of the AJ Corus 40 Under 40 award scheme for young architects under the age of 40 working in the UK and was hung in the V&A Museum. The complete collection of nearly 100 images taken by Timothy Soar give an insight into architects at work in their own practices. The exhibit now housed in Tim Soar’s photographic studio and art gallery in an old French Polisher’s Factory in Hackney Wick – an area becoming recognised as London’s new creative centre for artists, musicians and artisans. |
